So…. You’ve sold your house and now it’s time to pack up your belongings for the move.  You stand in the middle of the living room and wonder where to start.  The basement with all the things you hid from view in

Marking Boxes

Marking your boxes does a few things to help your mover and yourself.  If you are planning to do some or all of your own packing you will want to mark the following information on your box:
  • Name
  • Room
  • Contents
The name will help us differentiate your box from another shipment in case there is more than 1 shipment in the truck.
The room will allow your mover to place the box in the desired room with little oversight, making the delivery process a lot less complicated.
Marking the box for contents does a couple of things.  It helps you to identify where certain items are when you unpack and it helps us to identify what is in the box and load accordingly.
